Product Showcase: McKinney ElectroLynx Hinge (QC Option)

The McKinney ElectroLynx Hinge is an intermediate connector which passes a constant flow of current between the source of power (jamb) and the actuated devices in the door (i.e. electric locks, exit devices, etc.) regardless of door position.

Each hinge features concealed plug connectors which eliminate the need for separate or exposed wiring. Brass eyelets add protection and durability to the ElectroLynx Hinge and common wire colors and standard connectors make installation quick and simple.

This model offers the most security in a standard hinge. The bearing hinges have a stainless steel pin and antifriction bushing in the door leaf, which provides additional protection against vertical and lateral wear.
Regardless of door position, McKinney type CC electric hinges permit passage of a constant flow of current from jamb to door for a deversity of control functions. Uses include operation of electric locks, door closers. and other devices requiring power to the door.
 

 

McKinney Aluminum Continuous Hinges

      
McKinney provides aluminum continuous geared hinges for application on wood, aluminum, or hollow metal doors and frames. Mortising is not necessary, and continuous hinge doubles as weather stripping on the hinge side.
